OUR BLUE ’22 GOAL--30,000 LETTERS!
On THURSDAY MARCH 24, we will have our first 2022 Get Out the Vote letters pick-up at 925 NW 11th Avenue from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. This is VERY easy. Just click on the link below, fill out the form and pick-up your packet(s) on March 24, between 2:00 pm and 3:30 pm. Order letter packets HERE If you wish to order more than 5 packets, please email or call me at 415-271-2092. Prepared--Before March 24, write your personal story about about why you vote, to hand print in blue ink into your preprinted GOTV letters. Vote Forward help with that HERE includes samples and tips about what works. One story is fine for all letters, all campaigns. • You must submit your order for packet(s) no later than noon on Sunday, March 13. You will pick-up your packet(s) at 925 NW 11th Avenue at the bar Olive or Twist. We will be on the side of the building on the Kearney Street pedestrian walkway. • We will be onsite Thursday, March 24 from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. For this outdoor event, we will follow CDC guidelines. • The packets will be laid out on tables with your name and the number of packets you requested. • You can return any completed letters at the same time. A bin will be set out for completed letters. • To maximize the number of letters we can send, matching donations and donations in excess of the per packets cost will be applied to unstamped letters by those able to contribute letter writing time only. • If you choose pre-stamped, please purchase interesting or fun stamps, such as flowers, birds, etc., not official-looking US flag stamps. • If you choose to return letters unstamped, please include a cash donation or a note indicating letter writing time contribution only in a blank envelope with your name printed on the outside of the envelope. Packet of 20 letters & envelopes = $12; 40 = $24; 60 = $36; 80 = $48; 100 = $60. • Packets will have 20 letters and 22 envelopes. You can reserve as many packets as you think you can do in two weeks. Olive or Twist is graciously letting us use their patio to distribute letters. They are open for business, so please stop in and have a beverage. The Marionberry Cosmo comes highly recommended.
